Overview

WinMode is intended to operate as a local macOS utility. The product scope in this repository does not include cloud accounts, telemetry, or third-party tracking for its core keyboard behavior.

Data collection

The website implementation in this repository does not add analytics scripts, ad trackers, or behavioral profiling tools by default. If analytics are added later, this policy should be updated before release.

Application permissions

WinMode requires Accessibility permission on macOS so it can intercept and rewrite keyboard events locally. That permission is used to provide shortcut and navigation remapping, not to transmit your data elsewhere.

Internet access

Internet access is not required for the core keyboard remapping functionality described in the current product scope. Future update delivery or purchase flows may introduce network requests and should be documented explicitly when finalized.
